Poem I

11 Dec 2006

Infinite Mortality

Wandering through the various spheres of consciousness

Pondering nothing in particular

Exploring heights and depths both ordinary and bizarre

Listening to the language birthed of silence

Seeking to soak up divine essence

A sponge for cognizant inspiration

Re-membering at the most basic level of my being

Reeling from feeling

Shells scattering in broken layers of apathy

Approaching the unknowable

The all magnificent mystery

Great Mistress of the Night

Dark Temptress of my desires

Precise in my focus to let go completely

Losing only the illusions I hold to

Holding to nothing

Freedom devours me with hungry jaws

Jowls dripping with bloody truth

Saliva I want mixed with my remains

Needing nothing

I say goodbye to knowing anything

Humbled by my awakening

Fully embodying all that channels through this mortal vessel

Laughing in my tears

Crying for my love

Loving all that is

Blessing all that isn’t

Receiving all an empty bone can hold

The kernel of life

The empathy of trees

The catalyst of every moment

Arkasha Tremendum

Infinite mortality containing timeless time

Flying with the wind

Howling to the sky

Realizing there’s nothing left to realize

I close my eyes

Surprise me Spirit

Aho!
