Ariel Anastasia White
Ariel White is a natural born healer with extensive training in modalities ranging from Reiki to the Rubenfeld Synergy Method of talk and touch. Ariel has completed advanced training through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies at the Esalen Institute, where she continues to assist shamanic workshops.
Born in the American mecca for health, Boulder, Colorado, Ariel was raised in an extremely health conscious environment. Her mother was an organic horticulturalist, hypnotherapist and environmentalist while Ariel’s father was a pioneer of the natural foods industry and a developer of herbal supplements. Receiving her first Reiki attunement at age 8, Ariel began her lifelong path of healing.

“The first introduction I had to healing was through nature. Growing up with a view of the contenintal divide from my bedroom, I lived directly on the Roosevelt National Forest. I would venture off into the woods by myself, discovering crystals and cacti, creating pools for fairies to bathe in and befriending wild foxes.
I remember vividly when nature spirits first started visiting me. I was four, I had fallen and hurt my head (I am an Aries after all,) and I was crying in pain. For some reason I was all alone so I was calling out for comfort. Within seconds I saw vivid colorful shapes behind my closed eyelids, I opened my eyes and they were still there. Almost immediately the pain started to evaporate and I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and comfort. I knew I wasn’t alone and I began to communicate with these nature spirits at my leisure.
As I became older and more “educated” through school and culture, I slowly forgot my nature spirit companions. I stopped looking for them and so, for a period, I stopped seeing them. I stopped talking to them, and likewise I stopped hearing them.
I still remained an extremely creative child and always searched for spiritual fulfillment. I researched all of the major religions by 10, and finding nothing to connect with, I moved on to more obscure wiccan and ancient religions by 12. The more I looked outside of myself, the less I seemed to know, and the less connected I felt.
During my teen years I found my most spiritually satisfying times when I was involved in a practice of being present such as theater. I felt connected to spirit when I was singing, or dancing, or sleeping under the stars. I had officially stopped looking for the spiritual answer to my yearning through religion or individuals, which primed me perfectly for the journey within that ensued.
My first major act of manifesting my reality was at 17 when I graduated high school early to move to San Francisco. Having acted on the stage for years I wanted to have a whack at stage managing and directing. I bought my plane ticket with blind faith that I would find the perfect job and place to live. Four days before I arrived in San Francisco I received a letter from the largest nonprofit theater in San Francisco, (The Z Space Studio,) offering me a job of co-directing and stage managing!
After living in San Francisco I continued on my adventures, driving from Mexico to Canada, exploring the California coast and backpacking through Europe. It was during this period that I realized that the magic I had discovered in manifesting my reality was a widely spread practice and a law of the universe! Ironically I spontaneously decided to move to San Diego, mere miles from where Paramahansa Yogananda, (Mr. Manifestation himself,) had chosen to base his fellowship in Encinitas. San Diego proved to be fruitful for my spiritual development and I began to consciously create my life in way that was aligned with my highest path of growth and healing.
Six months after moving to San Diego I ventured up the coast to the Esalen Institute in Big Sur and completed a month long intensive shamanic training with Nan Moss and David Corbin. I had no idea why I decided to venture into shamanism, but that quickly became clear when I was reintroduced to the nature spirits of my childhood. Having not read a single word on the subject, I knew that every experience I had through my shamanic practice was completely authentic and not influenced by text or tale. Upon returning to San Diego I continued a daily shamanic practice and with a solid base of my own discoveries I began academic study of the subject and more intensive training.
The journey of healing continued, presenting initiation after initiation: love at first sight, stingray stings, having my third eye split open by the ocean, the loss of love, the presentation of a lifelong partnership, travel, losing a child, life threatening surgery, healing initiations, teaching… each experience, however great or small, blissful or tragic, all led me to a greater commitment to my own individual path of healing. Each loss I experienced proved to be a gain of some sort either in knowledge, wisdom, truth or experience. As within so without—as each of us heals, so does the world.
I have discovered that healing is limitless. There are so many levels of our being and boundless healing to supplement this. Through my dedication to my own healing I was gifted with the knowledge that I am a natural born healer. I am a healer of healers, a healer of the earth and healer of the earth’s children. I believe in receiving wisdom and guidance from the ancestors while being in service to the descendants through serving my own highest good.
Whether or not your path crosses mine I encourage you to inquire within and find what is true for you. What do you need to heal and align with your highest self? What wonders would you like to manifest into your life? You are a blessed being and it is no accident that you are here!”
